1) What drew me to this book is that i like the movie. I expected to read what i saw in the movies but with more detail.
2) What kept me reading past the past ten pages was that i was interested to see what would happen.
3) I don't have any reading habits because i don't read often.
1) The plot of the novel is that there are four friends who travel into space and have their genes mutated and later each have their own superpower. One becomes a big strong rock monster, One turns to fire and flies, One becomes really stretchy, And the other 1 becomes invisible. But they want to reverse the affects. DR .Doom doesn't like that and will do anything to stop them.
2) I think the theme is that if you stick together you can do more than by being alone and selfish.
3) The authors tone is serious.
1)" Her hair was long and golden." " He became as hot as the sun and was able to reach the stars"
2) The authors tone does not change.
3) He is flat because he does not change.
4) I felt like i met characters because of their superpowers not being real.

Literature Analysis F 451
1) What drew me to this book was the unusual story of a fireman starting fires.
2) What kept me reading past the first 10 pages was that i had to read the book to get a good grade.
3)I do not usually read but when I have to read I usually read what we are assigned or review before a test.
1) The plot of the book is that there are fireman who are brainwashed to start fires and to burn all the books they can because they are considered bad and the main Character Montag starts questioning if he really wants to be what he is but he decided he didn't so he turns on them and has to hide the books he has. In the end he ends up killing his boss and evading the police
2) the theme is self determination
3)the authors tone toward the story was dark
1)Direct characterization= clerice said I'm 17 and I'm crazy when asked her age
indirect =her face was slender and milk white. usually when the author uses direct characterization it stays with me more than indirect characterization
2)I think the authors syntax and diction changes when he talks about montage because montage usually thinks dark things so that reflects the authors tone.
3) the character is dynamic because he changes throughout the story from good to bad.
4)After the book i did fell that i met a character because of how good he was described throughout the story.

Funeral Blues poem
Stop all the clocks, cut off the telephone,
Prevent the dog from barking with a juicy bone,
Silence the pianos and with muffled drum
Bring out the coffin, let the mourners come.
Let aeroplanes circle moaning overhead
Scribbling on the sky the message “He is Dead”.
Put crepe bows round the white necks of the public doves,
Let the traffic policemen wear black cotton gloves.
He was my North, my South, my East and West,
My working week and my Sunday rest,
My noon, my midnight, my talk, my song;
I thought that love would last forever: I was wrong.
The stars are not wanted now; put out every one,
Pack up the moon and dismantle the sun,
Pour away the ocean and sweep up the wood;
For nothing now can ever come to any good.

Poem ANNABEL LEE
It was many and many a year ago,
In a kingdom by the sea,
That a maiden there lived whom you may know
By the name of ANNABEL LEE;
And this maiden she lived with no other thought
Than to love and be loved by me.
I was a child and she was a child,
In this kingdom by the sea;
But we loved with a love that was more than love-
I and my Annabel Lee;
With a love that the winged seraphs of heaven
Coveted her and me.
And this was the reason that, long ago,
In this kingdom by the sea,
A wind blew out of a cloud, chilling
My beautiful Annabel Lee;
So that her highborn kinsman came
And bore her away from me,
To shut her up in a sepulchre
In this kingdom by the sea.
The angels, not half so happy in heaven,
Went envying her and me-
Yes!- that was the reason (as all men know,
In this kingdom by the sea)
That the wind came out of the cloud by night,
Chilling and killing my Annabel Lee.
But our love it was stronger by far than the love
Of those who were older than we-
Of many far wiser than we-
And neither the angels in heaven above,
Nor the demons down under the sea,
Can ever dissever my soul from the soul
Of the beautiful Annabel Lee.
For the moon never beams without bringing me dreams
Of the beautiful Annabel Lee;
And the stars never rise but I feel the bright eyes
Of the beautiful Annabel Lee;
And so, all the night-tide, I lie down by the side
Of my darling- my darling- my life and my bride,
In the sepulchre there by the sea,
In her tomb by the sounding sea.
In a kingdom by the sea,
That a maiden there lived whom you may know

Blog instructions
the reason i am taking this course is becuase i had to. What i am excited about is too try out this new form of interactive learning and see how it goes. What makes me nervous is not getting my work done on time or just getting too lazy to do it. My goal for this course is to pass with a good grade and learn new things.I expect my knowledge to be improved by taking this course becuase its more interactive and a new way of learning. Richard cory is surprising becuase the author sets u up the whole poem just to end it with Richard Cory killing himself.
